Harvest Food Festival Posted by: Rachel Tustin Post date: 05 October 2015

On Wednesday 23rd September, all our nurseries joined together to celebrate our annual harvest festival.
Each nursery collected a box full of dried food for donation to our local Conwy food bank, with the help from our very generous parents we were able to donate two large boxes full of food to the value of over £200.00.
Once the nurseries had collected the donations, the children helped the staff to sort it all out ready to be donated to our local church and Conwy food bank.
As well as collecting food for the local food bank, we also enjoyed taking part in our harvest festival at our local church, St. Michaels church, Llandudno Junction. Parents were invited to join us to sing our harvest songs, listen to a harvest story and have a blessing from Rev. Peter Walker.
On behalf of all the staff at Wyngarth we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the children and parents for all their donations, support and for joining us in the church for our festival, it really made it a truly memorable event.
